MISS STEWART OF FASNACLOICH'S. Scottish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. Named for a daughter of a distinguished Appin, Argyll, family. Later, after World War I, an Ysobel Stewart of Fasnacloich (nee Campbell) became a co-founder and first secretary of the Scottish Country Dance Society, the precursor to the RSCDS. See also "Mrs. Stewart of Fasnacloich", a tune and dance presumably in her honor.
