MISS STEWART OF GARTH [2]. Scottish, Reel. D Dorian (Welling): D Minor (Kerr). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Cranford): AAB (Welling): AABB' (Kerr). The tune is a variant of "Miss Stewart of Garth's Strathspey (2)," composed by "The Dunkeld Paganini," Duncan McKercher. It is also a minor key variant of "Miss Stewart of Garth (1)." The melody has currency among Cape Breton fiddlers.
