MISS TROTTER'S JIG. AKA and see "Miss MacIntosh’s Jig." English (?), Jig. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was composed and published by Duncan MacIntyre under the title "Miss MacIntosh’s Jig." MacIntyre was an Edinburgh musician, composer and dancing master, who moved to London in the last decade of the 18th century, where he published two collections.
