MISSISSIPPI HORNPIPE. American; Hornpipe, Reel. USA. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. One of several tunes in Ryan’s Mammoth credited to Frank Livingston. Nothing is known of Livingston, although he may have been a journeyman composer in Boston or New York (as were other contributors to the volume).
