MOLLY RANKIN'S REEL. Canadian, Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by the late multi-instrumentalist John Morris Rankin of the Mabou, Inverness County, Cape Breton, group The Rankin Family. Molly is the daughter of John Morris and Sally Rankin. The tune was played at his funeral after his tragic death in an automobile accident.
