MONKEY SHOW. AKA and see "Going Down to Town (1)." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. According to Guthrie Meade (1980) this tune is a unique version of "Going Down Town," a tune which dates to before the Civil War, recorded by southern Kentucky fiddler Henry L. Bandy for Gennett Records in 1928.
