MOVE UP TO ME (Biodg Suas Liom). AKA and see "Gladly Would I Go, "My Pretty Fair Maid." Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. One strain of this tune is the second part of "Cailín Deas Donn (An)/Pretty Brown Girl (2) (The)." O'Neill printed a march in Waifs and Strays of Gaelic Melody (1922), collected from Highland piper William McLean, called "Gladly Would I Go," but failed to associate it with his earlier published jig "Move up to Me." Compare also with Scottish jigs "Cold Winds from Ben Wyviss," "Highlander's Jig," "Graham's Brook," "Forest and Glen," "Widow's Rant (The)."
