MISS BIGG'S (OF NEWCASTLE) DELIGHT. Scottish, Strathspey. The tune is referred to in Watlen's 1798 Celebrated Circus Tunes performed at Edinburgh this season, in which it is described as "the celebrated Strathspey Minuet as danced by Mr. Lassells and Mrs. Parker at the Royal Circus, London and Edinburgh."
