MRS. CAPTAIN CHARLES GORDON--HUNTLY. Scottish, Strathspey ("Slow when not danced"). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). See also the companion title “Captain Charles Gordon R.N.” Marshall was Head of the Household and Factor for the Gordon family for decades and composed many tunes for various members of the Gordon family.
