MRS. HENRY LUMSDEN OF TILLWHILLY'S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). Mrs. Lumsden was Catherine Tower, according to Moyra Cowie (The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999), born in 1784. She married Henry Lumsden, assessor to the rector of Marishall College of Aberdeen.
