MRS. JOHN CLARK'S DELIGHT. Scottish, Jig and Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB."Mrs. John Clark's Delight" is a jig and country dance tune from the sole publication of fiddler-composer John Clark, who dedicated his volume to the Musical Society of Perth. Unfortunately, there is no further information to be had on Clark (John Glen and David Baptie are silent). 'Mrs. Clark' is John's wife (or perhaps mother). See also his composition for a daughter/niece, "Miss Isobel Clark's Favorite."
