MRS. WALLER. Irish, Air or Planxty (whole time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). O'Sullivan (1958) calls this an "exceptionally tortuous piece." The subject of the piece. according to O'Sullivan, may be Miss Jane Ormsby, who married Rober Waller of Rockwood, County Roscommon.
