The tune appears in the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper Canon biography:James Goodman. Goodman manuscripts researchers Hugh and Lisa Shield find "My Love is in America [3]" to be cognate with O'Neill's "Jenny Picking Cockles (1)."
