NATHANIEL GOW'S COMPLIMENTS TO MR. W.K. JENKINS. Scottish, Slow Air. E Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Edinburgh bandleader, composer, musician, publisher and editor biography:Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831). The person of the title is unknown, although there was a W.K. Jenkins esq. of Avenue Road, Regents Park, in the second decade of the 19th century; at a guess, perhaps a barrister who may have aided the Gow publishing company. Nathaniel also wrote a tune for George Jenkins, a London dancing master (as did his son, Neil Gow Jr.)-could W.K. be a relation?
