The reel, or parts of it, appears in several publications of Boston music publisher Elias Howe & Co. under different titles. The first strain is shared with "Western Gem" in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883), and "Hill Lilly" in Elias Howe's Muscian's Omnibus Nos. 6 & 7 (1880-1882).
