O'CONNOR'S CLOG. American, Clog (whole time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by George W. Allen, about whom very little is known. The clog tune appears in Allen's late 19th century music manuscript collection. See also Allen's reels "O'Connor's Trip to Dublin" and "O'Connor's Rant." Perhaps O'Connor was a friend of Allen's.
