O'MAHONEY'S FROLICS. AKA - "O'Mahony's Frolicks." AKA and see "Cat in the Corner (1) (The)," "Felix the Wrestler," "Lady Charlotte Murray (1)," "O'Shaughnessy's," "Puss in the Corner." Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Although the tune is well-ensconced in Irish repertoire (thanks to Francis O'Neill), it is actually a composition of Scottish fiddler-composer Neil Gow, as "Lady Charlotte Murray (1)." O'Neill printed the tune twice in his Dance Music of Ireland (1907), once as "Cat in the Corner" and again as "O'Mahoney's Frolics."
