The jig was recorded as "Connolly's Jig" AKA "McKenna's Jig" by County Tipperary fiddler Seán Ryan (1919-1985) on his 1959 album "A Collection of His Own Compositions and His Versions of Well Known Traditional Tunes" (a collection of informal recordings made between 1959 and 1983).
