Source for notated version: the mid-20th century collection of Seán Reid (County Clare) who had the tune from Mrs. O'Loughlin (1885-1958), a neighbor on the Gort Road in Ennis in County Clare, whose primary instruments were the fiddle and concertina [Breathnach].
