OH MY LAWD. American, Country Blues Song. The song was recorded by Jess Young's Tennessee Band in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1928. Vocals were supplied by Dan Hornsby, a Columbia records employee for the session. Fiddler biography:Jess Young (1883-1938) was born in Alabama, but moved to the Sequatchie Valley, northwest of Chattanooga.
