OHIO HORNPIPE [3]. American, Reel. Although the tune is in a medley of 'hornpipes' is is played as a fast reel.

Recorded sources: Edison 51236 (78 RPM), John Baltzell (1860-1940). (The tune appears as 2nd tune of "Durang Hornpipe Medley". Baltzell was a native of Mt. Veron, Ohio, the same home town as minstrel Dan Emmett [d. 1904]. Emmett returned to Mt. Vernon in 1888, poor, and later taught Baltzell to play the fiddle.)
