OLD FOLKS [1], THE. American (?), Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A jig of unknown provenance, published by New York publisher Ed Harding. There is a resemblance between "Old Folks (1)" and the Sliabh Luachra slide "Gleanntán Frolics (1) (The)," although there is probably no cognate relationship between the two.
