OLD IRELAND. Scottish, Reel. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune was composed by biography:W.B. Laybourn, editor of Köhler's Violin Repository, originally published in serial form, then collected into three volumes published in Edinburgh from 1881 to 1885. Laybourn was originally from England, and spent some years in Newcastle before moving to Edinburgh.
