OLD IRELAND, A LONG FAREWELL. Irish, Slow Air (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. An English-sounding melody. The tune was originally published by the Dublin Feis Ceóil Association in 1914, although it was collected at the turn of the 20th century. It is a "corrupt version" of "Burns Farewell," dating to 1797.
