OLD TOWN BAND [1], THE. AKA and see "Spencer Wade's Tune". American, March (2/4 time). USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC (Bayard-Hoge MS): AABB (Bayard-Tustin). The title is a floating one, and the alternate is the name of an old Greene County, Pa. fifer, fiddler and singer "who either played the tune commonly, or liked it very much" (Bayard, 1981). The second strain is also that of "No Mistake."
