Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. See note for "Shanavest and Caravat (1)." The vest and cravat tie were tokens of Irish faction fighters in the 19th century, but were also worn by a variety of classes in Europe and the United States, including laboring men, in the mid-19th century.
