Back to Oxford Minuet (2)
OXFORD MINUET . Old-Time, Piece. USA; Nebraska. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB ('B' part shifts to 3/4 time). Substantially different than Viola Ruth's "Oxford Minuet (1)," though still retaining the two parts in different tempo structure. Usually known as a southwest dance tune. The second strain goes to a waltz rather than a march.
