AKA and see “Braes of Glendochart (The)," "Braes of Glendochert (The),” “Mr. Menzies of Culdares,” “Joe Tanzy's Reel,” “Pat Carney's Reel.” Irish, Reel. D Major (Mulvihill, O'Neill): D Mixolydian (Breathnach). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (O'Neill/1850 & 1001): AA'B (Breathnach): AABB (Mulvihill): AA'BB' (O'Neill/Krassen). The reel is a version of Niel Gow's 18th century double-tonic reel "Mr. Menzies of Culdares."
