PANDORA WALTZ. American, Waltz. The melody was recorded in New York City in April, 1928, by Ohio fiddler John Baltzell. It is perhaps the "Pandora Waltz" composed in the later 1880's by Ernest Bucalossi (1863-1933).

Recorded sources: Edison 52294 (78 RPM), 1928, John Baltzell {Baltzell was a native of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, as was minstrel Dan Emmeet [composer of "Dixie"] (d. 1904). Emmett returned to the town in 1888, poor, but later taught Baltzell to play the fiddle}.
