PEACE RIVER BREAKDOWN, THE. Canadian, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Ernest Couvrette. The Peace River [1] originates in the Rocky Mountains of northern British Columbia and flows to the northeast through northern Alberta, whose waters empty ultimately into the MacKenzie River.
