PEACE RIVER BREAKDOWN, THE. Canadian, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Ernest Couvrette. The Peace River  originates in the Rocky Mountains of northern British Columbia and flows to the northeast through northern Alberta, whose waters empty ultimately into the MacKenzie River.
