PETER DAVIDSON. Shetland, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB. Composed by pianist Ronnie Cooper of the Shetland Isles, who also composed "Millbrae", "Miss Susan Cooper", "Mickie Ainsworth", "Calum Donaldson" and "Tushkar (Da)," among others. The title perhaps references Scottish dance band musician Peter Davidson, who made one recording with his band in 1972 (Philips Records, "Peter Davidson and his Inverness Country Dance Band").

Ronnie Cooper (1934-1982)
