PHAETON WALTZ. American (?), Waltz. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Unknown provenance. A Phaeton was a type of late 18th and early 19th century fashionable carriage [1].

As with many tunes from the Saunders volume, "Phaeton Waltz" was entered into the music manuscript copybook of American musician M.E. Eames, dated 1859.
