PIGEON ON THE GATEPOST [1]. AKA and see "Paddy on the Turnpike (1)." Canadian, Reel. Canada, Prince Edward Island. G Major/A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The given title is here a floater attached to the tune usually known as "Paddy on the Turnpike (1)." The melody is not related to either of the Irish reels called "Pigeon on the Gate."
