Copyright is assigned to Canadian fiddler Jim Magill by the Jarman publishing company. The tune was played as "Pigeon on the Pier" by Bill, Laury and Francis Cormier, a trio of brothers who all played for George Wade’s Cornhuskers, an extremely popular Canadian dance ensemble of the thirties and forties.
