PIN HER AGAINST THE WALL [2]. AKA and see "Did You Wash Your Father's Shirt?," "Disappointed Coquette (The)." Irish, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Pin Her against the Wall [2]" was entered into the c. 1909 music manuscript collection in the possession of biography:Rev. Luke Donnellan, a curate and fiddler in the Oriel region of south Ulster. It is unclear if the ms. represents his collecting, or whether came into his possession from another. Researcher Conor Ward finds the tune to be cognate with "Disappointed Coquette (The)", a member of a large tune family with a variety of titles (see note for "annotation:Did You Wash Your Father's Shirt?" for more).
