PIPER'S PICNIC, THE ("Flead na Piobairaca" or "Aeribeact na bPiobairi"). Irish, Double Jig. A Major (O'Neill): A Mixolydian (Flaherty). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. There actually is an event called the 'Piper's Picnic' that has been held in Earltown, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, for over fifty years.
