PLANXTY PENNY. Irish, Set Dance (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. Composed by Limerick fiddler Con Foley (originally from County Cork) in honor of Celine Penny, the director of an Irish dancing school in Limerick City in the mid-to-latter 20th century.
