POLS FRÅN ACTON. Norwegian, American; Dance Tune (3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is known throughout Scandinavia and the U.S., note Reiner & Anick (1989). However, the title is one that the authors gave the tune, learned from accordion player John Chambers, who was living in Acton, eastern Massachusetts, at the time.
