PRIDE OF THE WEST [2]. English, Hornpipe (cut time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Pride of the West [2]" is contained in the c. 1840-1860 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian musician John Baty. It was composed by A. Parker, according to Matt Seattle[1], who found the attribution in a manuscript other than Baty's.
