PRIZE JIG. Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Prize Jig" is perhaps so titled because of the numerous string crossings required to play the tune. It would take some measure of technical accomplishment on the violin to play well.
