QUADRILLE [38]. A 6/8 time quadrille tune in 'A' from the playing of champion fiddler Bob Walters' brother, recorded in 1957 by Bob Christeson on one of his twenty-nine recording trips to "Uncle Bob". While the brother was unnamed by Christeson, Uncle Bob Walters came from a family of fiddlers that included his father, Willis and grandfather, Ike Walters ("a legendary fiddler in his own right"). The Walters family emigrated to Iowa from Kentucky in the mid-1900's and eventually settled in east Nebraska.
