Soucy researcher Jean Duval finds that Soucy recorded the tune several times under different titles (with slightly different second strains), but that it is the 5th part of a quadrille in all cases. When Soucy recorded the tune in 1928 with Donat LaFleur (released on 78 RPM in 1929) he added a third part to the tune. The tune is often known by the title "Reel de Ste-Blandine (2)" nowadays.
