QUADRILLE DE RIMOUSKI 2ÈME PARTIE. French-Canadian, Reel (3/2 and cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. This is the second figure of fiddler Luc Michaud's "Rimouski Quadrilles" (Quadrille de Rimouski). Michaud plays the tune with a few rhythmic and melodic differences each time through; this transcription represents the second time through. Jean Duval transcribed the tune almost entirely in 5/4 time in his 2013 doctoral thesis "Porteurs de pays à l'air libre: jeu et enjeux des pièces asymétriques dans la musique traditionnelle du Québec" (p. 238)[1].
