QUEEN'S JUBILEE, THE. Scottish, Reel (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by fiddler-composer an dancing master J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927) on the occasion in June, 1887, of the fiftieth anniversary of Queen Victoria's accession to the throne of England. It was celebrated with a banquet to which 50 European kings and princes were invited [1].
