QUICK STEP 37TH REGIMENT. Scottish, English; March (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. The 37th Regiment was associated with North Hampshire, a county in the south of England. John Buttery, whose large music manuscript is frequently referred to on this site, was a fifer with the 37th Regiment during the earliest decades of the 19th century.
