RABBIT IN THE FIELD. Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Baltimore B/C accordion player Billy McComiskey, originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. Karen Tweed recorded the tune under the title "Hare in the Corn (8)," a name that is also associated with a number of different triple-time tunes from Ireland and England, some quite old.
