Source for notated version: Jim McElhone (County Derry) [Mulvihill]: "Cronin" [O'Neill]. Chicago fiddler Edward Cronin was a native of Limerick Junction, County Tipperary, born in the 1840's. He was a member of the Irish Music Club in Chicago with Chief O'Neill, and the source of numerous tunes in Music of Ireland (1903).
