RATHOLDRAN CASTLE. Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB’. Composed by Baltimore, Md., B/C box player Billy McComiskey, originally from Brooklyn, taught by Sean McGlynn. McComiskey composed the reel for his friend, Irish banjo-player Peter Fitzgerald, originally from Ireland near the site of Rathaldran Castle. It has been renovated and developed for the tourist trade.
