REDMOND’S FROLICS. Irish, Reel. G major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB.

Source for notated version: the Rice-Walsh manuscript, a collection of music from the repertoire of biography:Jeremiah Breen, a blind fiddler from North Kerry, notated by his student [O’Neill]. The manuscript came into the hands of amateur fiddler Patrick Stack, a pupil of Breen's born in 1888 at Ballyconry, North Co. Kerry. Stack emigrated to Chicago around 1910, and donated the Rice-Walsh manuscript to Francis O'Neill, who recognized its value and who printed several tunes from it in his 1922 collection. Stack died around 1950 in Chicago.

Printed sources: O’Neill (Waifs and Strays of Gaelic Melody), 1922; No. 235.
