REEL DE NORMANDIN. AKA and see “Reel des sucres (3).” French-Canadian, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. An irregular or 'crooked' tune from accordion player Tommy Duchense [1] (1909-1986), recorded in Montreal in 1938 (the un-credited guitar accompaniment is excellent and far above average).
